FC Barcelona has selected Fortinet as the official cybersecurity partner of the future Spotify Camp Nou in a sponsorship deal that will span the next three seasons.
As part of the partnership, the global cybersecurity company will use its renowned Security Fabric platform to provide comprehensive security solutions to ensure a safe digital environment within the stadium. The implementation of this platform aims to make Spotify Camp Nou a benchmark for technological innovation in sports and entertainment.
The sponsorship is in line with FC Barcelona's wider program to integrate cutting-edge technological systems into the upcoming, state-of-the-art Espai Barça stadium complex. The partnership underlines the Club's ambition to transform Espai Barça into an international hub for innovation and advanced technology.
One of the fundamental aspects of this collaboration is the deployment of Fortinet's Security Fabric platform, including next-generation firewalls and artificial intelligence (AI)-powered security solutions, to protect the stadium's Wi-Fi network, operational technology infrastructure, and data centers. Additionally, zero trust network access and advanced endpoint security will protect every user and device accessing applications within Spotify Camp Nou.
