England defender Esme Morgan is set to leave Manchester City this summer “subject to international clearance”.
The 23-year-old, who has made eight appearances for the Lionesses, is set to join a club outside the Women's Super League.
Neither City nor Morgan have announced her destination, but the club said she is expected to move on, pending clearance and work permit.
Morgan is likely to join a club in the National Women's Soccer League in the United States.
Morgan came through City's youth ranks, making his professional debut in 2017 and has since played 87 senior matches across all competitions.
She won the Women's FA Cup and League Cup with City and was part of the team that finished runners-up to Chelsea in the WSL this season, but missed out on the title on the final day.

“I'd like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone at Manchester City for the support I've received throughout my journey from the Academy to the first team. You have always opened doors for me to develop at the right time, both as a player and as a person.”
Morgan made her England debut in October 2022 and was part of the team that reached the final of the 2023 Women's World Cup.
