EA Sports has finally released the official trailer for the upcoming NCAA 25 football game, scheduled for release on July 19th.
Although WVU was not featured in the highly anticipated trailer release, Mountaineer fans can still play as their favorite players such as Garrett Green and Jahiem White. The two announced via social media that they were “in the game” in collaboration with EA Sports.
The covers for the deluxe and standard editions were also released in May. The Deluxe Edition features different players from different schools coming out of the tunnel, while the Standard Edition features Michigan's Donovan Edwards, Texas' Quinn Ewers, and Colorado's Travis Hunter.
EA Sports' last release of an NCAA game was on July 9, 2013. And now, 11 years later, fans will not only be able to control their favorite team again, but this time they will also be able to control their favorite players. EA Sports says he is among 10,000 student athletes who have agreed to let the company use their names in games, and that number continues to grow.
As confirmed by EA Sports, fans can expect all 134 FBS teams to be in attendance at the game and high-level commentary from multiple different commentators. ESPN's Chris Fowler gave fans a sneak peek inside his own role in the game, including over 115 hours of his audio recorded over two years. Kirk Herbstreit will be the in-game color commentator, but Fowler hinted that other broadcast teams may participate in the game depending on the importance of the game being played.
Fans can pre-order the game now, but they still have to wait more than a month for its official release on July 19th.
