Several passengers expressed dissatisfaction and took to social media to express their concerns.
“American Airlines. 2 hour delay from Austin to Dallas. Missed my connection to Barcelona. What a joke. You should get compensation in the form of a first class seat,” one person wrote.
“Well, my flight from Salt Lake to Dallas is delayed, which means I'll be arriving in Dallas 30 minutes after my flight from London is scheduled to leave. I'm hating everything today, and if I have an unscheduled night… If I had to spend my time in Dallas,” another person wrote.
A third person complained: “The plane scheduled to leave Dallas at 7:15 won't arrive in Dallas until 7:59. That might be time for @AmericanAir to delay flight AA726 by an hour or so.” said.

“The threat of flash flooding is also increasing as the storm moves into eastern central Texas. Saturated soil leads to rapid runoff. If roads are flooded, be sure to turn around and avoid drowning.” authorities said.
