Saibarani, a Saudi Aramco company and national cyber champion, has entered into a strategic partnership with Thales, Europe's largest technology group, to serve the cybersecurity needs of private and public sector companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This strategic partnership, signed at LEAP 2024 by Saeed Al Said, CEO of Cyberni, and Pierre-Yves Jolivet, Vice President of Cyber Digital Solutions at Thales, is in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and: emphasizes the importance of Cybersecurity and digital infrastructure in building a diverse and sustainable economy. The agreement was signed by Ahmad O. Al Khouwaiter, Aramco's executive vice president of technology and innovation, Tarek Amin, CEO of Aramco Digital, and Wael Kanoun, managing director of cyber defense solutions at Thales. Signed under the auspices of Drs. Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, and Bernard Lu, CEO of Thales in Saudi Arabia. The Saibarani Thales Alliance will act as a catalyst for the local economy, strengthen the development of Saudi digital and industrial capabilities, and contribute to Saudi sovereignty goals.
Recognizing that cyber threats are intensifying globally and compliance and regulatory requirements becoming increasingly complex, Cyberi and Thales have agreed to a common goal of $350 million in revenue to be achieved between 2024 and 2030. Towards this goal, we will work together to address the Kingdom's cybersecurity market. .
Thales, which has completed its acquisition of Imperva and has more than 5,800 cybersecurity professionals in 68 countries, predicts cybersecurity revenues of USD 2.4 billion in 2024.
Choosing Thales as its preferred partner, Cyberni will leverage the technology company's expertise to secure critical information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) infrastructure and operations for its customers in the Kingdom.
The partnership between Cyberani and Thales will provide best-in-class cybersecurity solutions to organizations in the country, focusing on critical sectors such as energy, utilities, aviation, transportation, space, finance, and even smart cities.
Thales will also assist Cyberi with providing cybersecurity services to overseas locations, particularly Aramco and Aramco affiliates outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
