The Board of Directors has appointed Rose Clark to succeed Mary as Chief Financial Officer. Initially, the position will not be a director. Rose is an experienced CFO of companies with sales ranging from £15m to £500m. She has acquired 20 businesses in two years and grown revenues from £15 million to £75 million. Served as her CFO for the company. She also served as Interim Global CFO of Eleco plc, a technology business. Rose began her career with KPMG, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant. She will join Crossword in May to ensure a smooth transition.
Rose Clark will join the Crossword Committee after a sufficient handover period with Mary Dowd, at which point further announcements will be made.
