When asked about programming video game music for the symphony, musical director Roger Calia responded, “We’re not really into programming video game music for the symphony. We hope our regular customers will come and hear what composers are creating for a medium they are perhaps unfamiliar with. Music stands on its own. ”
There will be no Easter eggs before the concert, and we're promised a ton of DLC. With iconic music by Koji Kondo (Mario and Zelda), Nobuo Uematsu's “One-Winged Angel” from Final Fantasy, and the theme from Pokémon Sword and Shield, don't let this get you “game over.”
