new travel series Conan O'Brien Must Go The premiere date for Max has finally been decided.
The project, which will premiere on April 18, was first announced at last year's Warner Bros. Discovery upfront presentation.
O'Brien announced the news about when the show's four episodes will hit the platform during a fireside conversation at SXSW with comedian Nick Kroll on Saturday.
The show is based on O'Brien's popular podcast, “Conan O'Brien Needs a Fan,” and is narrated by filmmaker Werner Herzog.
On the podcast, O'Brien talks to listeners from all over the world, meeting with fans in Norway, Thailand, Argentina and Ireland, following the Max series.
Conan O'Brien Must Go Conaco will produce, with O'Brien and Jeff Ross serving as executive producers. Director O'Brien previously revealed that the show would take anywhere from a week to 10 days to film in any country.
“There are interesting people all over the world, and they all have their own rhythms,” O'Brien said. “All Irish people are comedians…I love talking to people who don't know me, don't worry about it. I'm a connection junkie and I love connecting with people. I think this is the way to correct it.”
