It's not like they don't “deserve” it…the offense in the fourth quarter is great, the effort is great, the rebounding is great, the defense is committed, and offensively they are a very intentional team. They have their limitations, but they had very few bad possessions in the fourth quarter. You see teams waste possessions from time to time, but the Knicks don't have anything like that in the fourth quarter. Every time they go down, you see the hustle, the dedication, the rebounding, it's a deliberate possession. Sorry Knicks fans, but generally speaking, there's no bench, one capable scorer drafted in the second round, a bunch of Villanova players, and there's generally a cap on hustle & effort. We know their hard work and effort will be important in the regular season. He can win 40 games in the NBA if he plays at full strength, manages any load, and has talent that many teams tank.
