CAA Women's Tennis Weekly Awards – April 23
RICHMOND, Va. (April 23, 2024) – UNCW Jr. Stella Joksimovic Her dramatic three-set victory earned her the final CAA Women's Tennis Player of the Week award for the 2024 season.campbells Lily titanbar and Mariana Ossa The Camels were named the women's doubles team of the week after earning doubles points.

Stella Joksimovich Jr., UNCW (Chapel Hill, North Carolina)
Joksimović led UNCW to a 4-3 victory over Campbell last Saturday with a three-set victory at No. 2 singles. After taking the first set 6-2 against the Camels' Lilly Titanbar, the junior dropped the second set 6-4 and trailed 5-1 in the third. As UNCW battled back from a 3-1 deficit in the match, Joksimović fought off several match points to take the final set 7-6 with a 7-5 tiebreaker.
CAA Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week

Mariana Ossa Sr., Campbell (Key Biscayne, Florida)
Titanbar and Ossa clinched doubles points for Campbell in last Saturday's narrow 4-3 loss to UNCW. The Camels duo, playing in the second spot, defeated Alicia Eberwein and Stella Joksimovic 6-2, with Campbell taking a 1-0 lead early in the match. Chitambaru and Ossa have improved to 7 wins and 1 loss in No. 2 doubles and are on a seven-game winning streak.
