Iran (MNN) – As the world's attention shifts to the conflict between Iran and Israel, the Iranian government is once again cracking down on women's freedoms.
Tightening restrictions on women

In addition to the repression of the Nour movement, women are increasingly excluded from public life. Prohibited from entering and exiting soccer stadiums An incident occurred in Northern Mazandaran province where a man insulted and threatened a female attendee.
This increase in attacks on women is likely to become even more common following the ongoing codification of legislation. “Hijab and Chastity” Bill.
But even as governments tighten their grip, International Media Ministries offers hope through the history of the church and the stories of the Bible.
stand up for hope and truth
with Dennis Godwin International Media Ministries (IMM) says: “These are very tough times to make sure that we are telling stories of truth and hope to parts of the world that don't encourage it. It doesn't seem like it's being encouraged in Iran. There. 's government is once again oppressing women. [They are] We continue to persecute our own people, continue to crack down on the wearing of the hijab, continue to speak out about the hypocrisies and lies of other parts of the world, and young people who try to defend the truth continue to die. Yet the Iranian government just screams louder and blames the West.
“It was such an amazing time in world history that we could bring truth to the screen of our phones, to our computer screens, to the screens of our televisions, and what an amazing time it was for all of us as believers to live that truth. It must be a challenge.”
IMM's latest project is Esther: Queen of Hope. Not only does this story feature women, but it is reminiscent of the current conflict between Iran and Israel. IMM hopes this story will encourage believers and provide an opportunity to share the truth with others.
“Iranian believers are excited to share their faith, but they are reaching out at great personal risk,” Godwin said. “It's a wonderful time to pray with them, stand with them, and remember that despite the horrible government regime they are in, we have believers inside Iran. We have brothers and sisters who are persecuted and who are evangelizing at the same time.”
Let's participate
Please pray that the many believers in Iran will be able to stand strong in the Lord despite severe persecution.
