Travel industry leaders report that the cost of living crisis has not dampened appetite. “Our members are seeing great opportunity and great growth,” said Julia Lo Buesaid, CEO of Advantage Travel Partnership. She said: “It is true that the numbers are effectively back to pre-pandemic levels.”
And Paul Charles, chief executive of PC Agency and former communications director for Virgin Atlantic and Eurostar, predicts: “It will undoubtedly be the busiest summer on record.”

The issue also revolved around how best to avoid getting caught up in travel disruptions, following last summer's disruptions to air traffic control, mass cancellations by major airlines, and large-scale disruptions at airports due to industrial action. We also plan to work on this.
