Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan members dreaming of reaching the shores of a remote paradise on their next vacation are now in luck.
The US airline has just launched a new Global Getaways program, available exclusively to loyalty plan participants. The program offers award travel at up to 50% off regular redemption prices when customers book travel to select destinations on Alaska's global partner airlines. .
The list of international destinations where this offer is available changes four times a year, so every quarter you'll see a new list of great locales where you can use your Rewards points.
As the program's first offering, customers can book a trip to one of a collection of exotic, sunny beach escapes this fall from September 1st to November 30th via the State of Alaska's website You can redeem your miles at discounted rates throughout April. .
These award tickets are automatically discounted when you visit alaskaair.com and are easy to find by searching for flights to selected eligible destinations and checking the “Use Miles” feature .
According to Travel + Leisure, travelers can also include one stopover of up to 14 days as part of these international itineraries, effectively combining two trips into one and saving on discounted fares. It becomes even more valuable.

These one-way benefits are available in economy and premium economy cabins on Alaska's various partner airlines.
- Tahiti (French Polynesia): Starts at 20,000 miles instead of 30,000 miles
- Nadi (Fiji): Starts at 20,000 miles instead of 37,500 miles
- Nassau (Bahamas): Starts at 15,000 miles instead of 17,500 miles
- Zanzibar (Tanzania): Starts at 30,000 miles instead of 42,500 miles
- Male (Maldives): Now starts at 30,000 miles instead of 42,500 miles
- Bali/Denpasar (Indonesia): Starts at 30,000 miles instead of 42,500 miles
