The release of an electronic bodysuit that can inflict pain has sparked debate within the gaming community.
An innovative product from Spanish manufacturer OWO allows users to experience the same physical sensations as a video game character.

Called the OWO Haptic Suit, the product retails for a whopping 499 euros (£539.12) and allows the wearer to “physically feel everything that happens in a video game.”
“This patented haptic system is unique in that our sensation technology allows you to create an infinite number of different sensations,” the official listing states.
“OWO uses pulse trains (electrical pulses) to create an infinite number of different sensations.”
The body suit, which can recreate discomfort and pain, has been called “a new gateway to an extraordinary world.”
The sensations you get can range from a sharp sting to a sensation similar to stepping into a very windy place.
According to Medium, the skin may also cause you to feel the distinct weight of a full virtual backpack and experience mild muscle cramps if you walk for long periods of time without a break.
If you don’t want to feel intense pain when you get hit by an NPC or boss, you can fully customize your OWO shirt using a dedicated mobile app.

So, if the pain becomes too much, you can lower your pain threshold.
The website also says that by wearing the suit, you can immerse yourself in Hollywood blockbuster action movies or connect more deeply with your favorite songs.
However, it is important to note that the company only recommends that people over 18 years of age use the product.
Naturally, this unique gaming accessory caught people's attention.
After watching popular TikTok user GingasVR test out the skin, many viewers took to Reddit to voice their opinions.

The OWO suit seems to be made for people who are willing to step out of their comfort zone, but many who game using virtual reality headsets may be more drawn to the suit than others.
