Video game developer Nidal Nizim Games announced on Saturday that with X Announcing the upcoming release of a video game.
Both video games feature Palestinian gunmen as heroic characters, allowing those playing to fight for freedom.
The first game, Sound of Silence, will be released soon on the video game digital distribution service Steam, which is considered one of the leading online gaming platforms.
The game features the main character, Jihad, who is tasked with freeing his sister from an Israeli airstrike.
The second game, Toofan AlAqsa, lets players take on the role of an archer to defeat IDF enemies faster and “complete all levels to liberate Palestine.”
The Steam website describes the games as being “inspired by far-fetched suffering.”
A message attached to the game's Steam page states that these are how Nijm is represented. “Perhaps this game, as expected, will not have a large enough impact to alleviate the suffering of the people of Gaza. But such is the nature of art, it is powerless in the face of machine guns.”
anti-israel video games of the past
These are not the first anti-Israel games Nijm has released.
In April 2022, he released a game titled “Fursan al-Aqsa: The Knights of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.” The game follows the main character, Ahmad al-Falastini, who was “unjustly tortured and imprisoned for five years” by the IDF. Fursan Al Aqsa Website.
