Paramount+, home of the big budget Hello The live-action TV series is betting on another video game property.
Streamers backed by Paramount Global: Ark: Animated Series, Based on the popular adventure video game Ark: Survival Evolved. The first six episodes of the animated series, featuring an all-star voice cast including Michelle Yeoh and Vin Diesel, were released on the platform on March 21st. Part 2 of the season will consist of his seven episodes and will be released on Paramount+ at a date to be determined.
of Ark The series was first announced in 2020, and production on the program began without a distribution home. The show is described as “an epic story spanning the eons of human history.” When 21st century paleontologist Helena Walker (Madeline Madden) finds herself brought back to life on a mysterious primordial island inhabited by prehistoric beasts, she travels through time as she attempts to uncover the nature of this strange new world. You must learn how to survive with your new friends.
The cast also includes Russell Crowe, Gerard Butler, David Tennant, Jeffrey Wright, and Elliot Page.

Produced by game director Jeremy Stieglitz and executives Jesse Lapsack, Mark Diana, Doug Kennedy, Jay Oliva, James Baldanzi, Diesel, Samantha Vincent, Butler, Alan Siegel, and Crowe. Stieglitz, Oliva, David Hartman, and Sebastian Montez directed the series, and Margaret Bennett and Kendall Deacon Davis co-wrote the screenplay. Video game adaptations such as HBO the last of usis becoming increasingly popular as it offers a built-in fan base of passionate gamers and a reliable source of IP that has already proven to be successful. Paramount+ is simply licensed Arkrather than signing on as co-producers, so the swings aren't as big.
