Norwegian Cruise Line is rolling out a new marketing platform called NCL Connect designed to help travel advisors increase sales.
The platform allows travel advisors to quickly create co-branded digital marketing content pre-designed by Norwegian's in-house marketing team and share it with customers via email, social media and other channels.
It uses technology from Approach Guides, the company behind Regent Connect, the marketing platform launched in October by Norwegian Cruise Line's sister brand Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
“The team at NCL shares our vision for the future of trade marketing: to make trade marketing personal, impactful, and most importantly, easy to use for travel advisors. It’s about making it happen,” said Jennifer Lazer, co-founder and chief marketing officer of Approach Guides. “NCL is the first modern cruise line to implement our solution, leveraging the full power of our in-house marketing expertise and technology to support our advisors’ businesses, and we know our advisors will love it. ”
Norwegian Cruise Line already offers more than 800 ready-to-use and customizable videos, flyers and other materials to travel advisors through its Marketing Headquarters platform. The new NCL Connect platform not only complements these existing services, but also provides an additional level of marketing support.
“We look forward to helping our travel partner community deepen their engagement with the brand and grow their business at the same time,” said John Cherneski, Norwegian's senior vice president of sales for North America.
