Lane restrictions will be implemented at night from March 17th to March 23rd.
As ABC 7 News reported, the airport is asking travelers to plan ahead after Century Boulevard was closed this weekend, frustrating travelers who got out of their cars and walked into LAX's departure area. He urged passengers to leave plenty of time for their flights. It was constructed during the spring break travel period in late March.

This week, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) issued a road construction alert for the week of Sunday, March 17, 2024 through Saturday, March 23, 2024. Construction is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m.From a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
The construction will result in lane restrictions in various areas of the airport's terminals and roads. These limits include:
- Continued lane restrictions in Terminal 2 arrival drop off lanes.
- Continuing lane restrictions on both the arrival and departure level drop-off lanes of Terminal 3.
- Continuous lane restrictions are in place in the innermost lanes of the Terminal 3 arrivals level (also known as Terminal 3/B “North Knuckle”).
- Continued lane restrictions in the drop-off lanes at arrival and departure levels in Terminal 4.5.
- On Theme Way, continuous lane restrictions are imposed from World Way North to Center Way.
- Vehicle restrictions will be in place on Center Way each night.
- The northbound lanes of West Way will be closed and the southbound lanes will remain open.
- Surface lots 2, 3, 4, and 7 will remain closed.
- The Managed Tohoku Parking Lot, which serves as a temporary parking and staging site (TPSS site), will be permanently closed.
