When BetMGM customers bet on sports or iGaming, they earn BetMGM Rewards points and can transfer those points to their Marriott Bonvoy accounts.
This provides another value proposition for bettors outside of the sportsbook that doesn't give them anything in return other than potential winnings. Similar to credit card reward points, this could signal a shift to sportsbooks competing for bettors' money by pushing rewards, rather than just an upfront sign-up promotion.
