– Also, folks, we're tracking NVIDIA stock this morning. Shares have been rising in the pre-market as analysts raised their price targets for the company ahead of the annual GTC conference. Our own technology editor, Dan Howley, is broadcasting live from a conference in San Jose, California, when the sun doesn't even hit the city. But our own Dan gives us something to look forward to. Dan, what are you going to ask?
Dan Howley: Yeah. Now I just want to warm my hands someday. The sun hasn't fully risen yet. But our expectations are mostly about the big new products NVIDIA will bring in the year ahead.
Many of the rumors suggest new GPUs, new architectures. Currently, the company's top products are his H100 and H200. They have their own superchip called the Grace Hopper superchip. It is expected that something called a Blackwell chip will appear. Various reports have pointed this out.
You may also be able to hear more about various partnerships and how AI is expected to penetrate different industries throughout the year. This is clearly the biggest GTC ever. Mainly because of the hype from the AI boom that we're starting to see, or that we've seen start with ChatGPT in 2022.
And as you said, NVIDIA's price target has been raised as preparations for the conference progress. We have Matt Bridson from Wedbush. He jumped from $850 to $1,000. There is something called trust securities. It jumped from $911 to $1,177. Words from William Stein. There's HSBC. The price target was raised from $880 to $1,050. And the meeting hasn't started yet.
So let's see what happens after that. AI is clearly in the news a lot. I mentioned earlier when Matty gave his opinion on a possible partnership between Apple and Google. So it's not going away anytime soon.
– Certainly not. Okay, Dan Howley. We will contact you shortly. Please do your best today too. An important day for you.
