Tuyet McConnell University's Hans Hutt School of Business announced March 5 that it is adding several cybersecurity degree programs to its curriculum.
The course will be available as early as fall 2024 and is designed to prepare students for the challenges of today's digital environment.
Students attending the university will soon be able to earn a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in cybersecurity. Alternatively, you can enroll in a dual-degree program that combines a bachelor's degree in business administration with an MBA with a focus on cybersecurity.
Students who are not pursuing a cyber degree can take cyber security as a business elective or add a cyber security minor to their chosen degree.
New Cyber Security courses include:
- Technical foundation of cybersecurity
- Data protection and management
- Policy and Governance in Cybersecurity
- Artificial intelligence for cybersecurity
- secure software development
- Cybersecurity and business management
All cyber security courses are available exclusively online.
“We emphasize ethics throughout our programs,” the university said in a recent press release. “This not only prepares students to excel academically, but also equips them with a strong moral compass, which will be of great benefit to future employers.”
