In a poll that ended March 15, Cincinnati.com readers selected Beacon Orthopedics and Sports Medicine's Athlete of the Week from high school sports activities through March 10.
The Enquirer had until Feb. 9 to mail winter winners' certificates to the athletic department. The next round will take place in mid-April.
The Beacon Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Athlete of the Week poll takes place during all high school sports seasons and recognizes athletes from all sports. Here are this week's winners.

ohio state men's basketball team: hamilton – Big Blue defeated Greater Miami Conference champion Sycamore 38-32 on March 10 to win the district championship.
Ohio State women's basketball team: Parcel Marian – The Cavaliers returned to the state tournament by defeating Broome Carroll 77-43 and Buddin 75-29 in the regional tournament.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana Men's Basketball Team: Campbell County – The Camels dominated Bracken County 97-49 in the Region 10 quarterfinals on March 7th.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana Women's Basketball Team: Cooper – The Jaguars improved to 29-4 overall with a 51-26 win over Lyle in Region 9.
WInter Team: Oak Hills Boys Bowling – Oak Hills competed in the OHSAA Division I tournament on March 8, finishing 13th in the qualifying round.
Ohio State Big School Men's Basketball: Marlon Reed, Hamilton – He scored 12 points, including two 3-pointers in the fourth quarter, in a 38-32 win over Sycamore and Hamilton's first district championship since 2004.
Ohio elementary school boys basketball: Henry Patterson, Miami Valley Christian Academy – The senior led the team with 11 points in a loss to Troy Christian in the Division IV district final. He was a third-year starter for the Lions.
Ohio State Big School Women's Basketball: Grace Pitzer, Mt. Notre Dame – She had 14 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in the regional semifinal victory and 7 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists in the regional championship.
Ohio State Small Women's Basketball: Jada Mosley, Purcell Marian. – The senior had 10 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals in the district semifinal win, then led the Cavaliers with 18 points, five rebounds and two assists to win the district championship.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana Men's Basketball: Taylen Kinney, Newport – He scored 22 of Newport's 45 points in the team's narrow 45-43 win over Lyle in the Region 9 quarterfinals.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana Women's Basketball: Sarah Baker, Lyle – She led the Raiders to a Region 9 semifinal victory over Highlands with 20 points and 11 rebounds.
ohio boys bowler: Dawson Wagel, Oak Hills – The senior posted 585 (169-205-211) in the three-game series to lead Oak Hills to a 33rd place finish in the Division I state tournament. He, along with senior teammate Casey LeCounte, who finished one pin behind, helped the Highlanders take 13th place in the team tournament.
Ohio State Women's Bowler: Kylie Fisher, Wilmington – The junior shot a 652 (215-193-244) in the Division I individual tournament to finish second, one pin behind the winner. She led the Hurricanes to the state semifinals in the team tournament, where they lost a hard-fought game to Troy, 3-2. She was selected to the All-State first team.
Boy wrestler: Logan Dean, Bethel Tate – In his third state tournament appearance, Dean won the state championship with the Division III 120-pound title.
Female wrestler: Elizabeth Madison, Loveland – The sophomore earned three pins in four matches to win the 170-pound state title, his second championship.
Boy archer: kaiden bourne, scott – The sophomore placed sixth in the 2024 Dixie Cup High School Boys Division over the weekend. Vaughn scored a total of 281 points with 14 hits.
female archer: Riley Smith, Scott – Smith placed seventh at the 2024 Dixie Cup High School Girls Competition over the weekend. She hit 13 tens for a 277, placing fourth among sophomore girls.
boy volleyball: James Steinreid, Oak Hills – Junior had 32 kills, 18 digs, four blocks, and two aces in two games on March 9.
