The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), organized by the Entertainment Software Association of America, is no longer taking place, but its spirit lives on. June is still the time when video game enthusiasts look forward to major stage shows and livestream announcements about what publishers have in store for next year and beyond.
Led by Jeff Keighley's Summer Game Fest, which replaced E3 when the COVID-19 pandemic first canceled the event in Los Angeles in 2020, the first weekend in June will feature 13 (and growing) streaming events showcasing new video games and hardware due for release next year. Here are the dates and start times:
- Guerrilla Collective Online Showcase: Thursday, June 6, 1 p.m. EDT on Twitch and YouTube
- Summer Game Fest: Friday, June 7, 5pm EDT. (Twitch and YouTube)
- Developer Day 2024: Friday, June 7th at 7pm EDT (right after Summer Game Fest, on Twitch and YouTube)
- IGN Live: It will air from Friday, June 7th through Sunday, June 9th, all three days from 10am-6pm EDT.
- Devolver Direct: Friday, June 7, 8pm EDT. Twitch and YouTube.
- The future of Play Direct: Saturday, June 8, 11 a.m. EDT. YouTube.
- Wholesome Direct: Saturday, June 8, at noon EDT. Twitch and YouTube.
- Latin America Games Showcase: Saturday, June 8, 1pm EDT. Twitch and YouTube.
- Female-Led Games Showcase: Saturday, June 8, 2:30pm EDT. Twitch and YouTube.
- Future Games Summer Showcase: Saturday, June 8th, 3pm EDT Youtube, Twitch, Facebookand X.
- Xbox Games Showcase (immediately following) Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct: Sunday, June 9th at 1pm on Facebook, Twitch, YouTube.
- PC Gaming Show: Sunday, June 9, 4pm EDT. Twitch and YouTube.
- Ubisoft Forward: Monday, June 10, 3pm EDT. Twitch and YouTube.
