“Governments and businesses alike are plagued by cyberattacks. It is clear that there is an enemy we all must fight. There is an Azerbaijani proverb that says, 'If you do not sow today, you will not reap tomorrow,'” Cisco Senior Vice President Adel Trombetta said in a speech at the 3rd National Cybersecurity Forum in Baku.
She emphasized that Article 42 of the Azerbaijani Constitution states that every citizen has the right to education. “This right unites hundreds of thousands of pupils and students in the city of Baku. The Republic of Azerbaijan can become an important partner for the Western countries by continuing to perform at a high level in the fields of education and business. Azerbaijani poet Mahmad Fuzuli said: “Never boast about your wealth, get an education and continue to learn to succeed.”
Trombetta noted that the Azerbaijani government is developing the country at a high level in the cybersecurity and digital fields, saying: “This is my first visit to Azerbaijan and I am fascinated by the country's potential. In my opinion, the future of cybersecurity lies in Azerbaijan.”
It is noteworthy that the 3rd National Cybersecurity Forum in honor of the “Green World Solidarity Year” is being held in Baku. The event was organized by the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Organizations Association (ACOA) and key partners of the “Azerconnect” group.
