Cybersecurity vendor Logpoint has hired Mikkel Drucker as its new CEO.
The vendor said Drucker, a distinguished international technology executive, will bring a strong focus on commercial excellence and a proven track record of successfully expanding SaaS and scaling companies to drive profitable growth.
He joins Logpoint from Netigate, where he served as CEO of Netigate, where he led the company's successful sale to a private equity fund and drove healthy growth.
“We are pleased to welcome Mikkel to our board of directors. His experience overseeing business expansions and organizational changes to drive financial growth, combined with his understanding of improving companies' offerings to gain market traction, will be of great help in strengthening Logpoint's growth trajectory,” said Jim Fraging, chairman of the vendor's board of directors.
In his new role, Drucker will be focused on driving the company's financial growth and strengthening its efforts to democratize efficient cybersecurity solutions for mid-sized organizations in Europe.
As the company scales, it said it aims to ensure profitable organic annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth by expanding its market share in the European mid-market, expanding channel and MSSP partnerships, and attracting key cybersecurity talent.
Logpoint will also explore strategic acquisition opportunities to further expand and grow its market position.
“Cybersecurity is an exciting industry helping to solve one of society's greatest challenges today: cyber risk,” Drucker said.
“With our European base, customized technology to protect mid-market organizations, and great customer and partner relationships, we are uniquely positioned to capitalize on the growth in the cybersecurity market. We look forward to building on this strong foundation and establishing Logpoint as a strong European cybersecurity vendor and a great place to work.”
Targeting MSPs
Logpoint also recently announced new features for its integrated SIEM platform.Streamline threat detection, security operations, and case management.
The update aims to simplify processes, reduce workload, and increase efficiency for organizations, especially MSPs.
Logpoint has established itself as a preferred cybersecurity partner for MSPs serving small and medium-sized businesses. Enhancements include adaptive memory management for system stability, user-friendly alert configuration, and automatic extraction of incident artifacts into cases for context-rich detection and response.
The platform facilitates distribution of playbooks with integration-agnostic templates for common security use cases, making them easy to update and distribute to tenants with different integrations, saving time and minimizing errors.
