Organized for the first time in Uganda by African technology driver dx5 and sponsored by information technology company BUI East Africa, the event focused on the latest trends and challenges in these rapidly evolving sectors.

A breach response plan.” Chudasama outlined the key steps that organizations must take in the event of a cyber attack, including incident containment, investigation and an effective communication strategy. Attendees gained valuable insights to minimize damage and quickly restore operations after a breach.
As cybercriminals increasingly leverage advanced AI tools, a panel discussion explored how organizations can leverage cloud-based data to more effectively detect and neutralize AI-enabled cyber threats. Attendees learned about the latest defensive strategies against these emerging threats.

The Kampala event follows similar roadshows held in Tanzania and Rwanda, highlighting the growing interest in technological advancements in the region. The roadshow's next stop is Ethiopia on May 30, 2024, continuing its mission of fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration across East Africa.
