“Leading the nation into the abyss”
Gantz also reportedly said in a message to Prime Minister Netanyahu: “If you choose to put national interests above personal interests and follow the path of Herzl, Ben-Gurion, Begin, and Rabin, you will find partners in the struggle among us. But if you are a fanatic, If we choose to take our course and lead the entire country into the abyss, we will be forced to leave the government.”
“We will stand up to the people and establish a government that will earn their trust,'' he said. We will establish a government based on broad unity that will lead to restoration and real victory. ”
Defense Minister Yoav Galant reportedly said last week that he does not agree with Israeli military rule in the Gaza Strip.

“That's a dangerous and bad option for Israel,” Gallant said, according to the Globes report. “The purpose of military action is diplomatic action.”
“This is a moment of national testing, even if it comes at a political cost,” he was quoted as adding.
In response, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said Gantz's demands include “an end to the war, the defeat of Israel, the abandonment of most of the hostages, leaving Hamas in power, and the creation of a Palestinian state,” Anadolu Agency reported. He said that it means “establishment.”
“Prime Minister Netanyahu is determined to eliminate the Hamas battalions,'' the paper said, “and opposes bringing the Palestinian Authority into Gaza and establishing a Palestinian state that would inevitably become a terrorist state.'' Ta.
