After a decade of anticipation, the trailer for EA Sports' College Football 25 video game premiered Friday morning.
This game preview featured many schools and notable players, including several from the Crimson Tide.
Alabama's main player revealed is, of course, quarterback Jalen Milroe, but the offensive line, defense, and turnover belts were also featured in the trailer. Additionally, Bryant and Denny were able to get a glimpse of his stadium.
Based on the Alabama players' jersey numbers in the trailer, the following was noted:
EA.com also listed the game modes on Friday morning: Dynasty, Road to Glory, Ultimate Team, and Road to the College Football Playoff. A team builder mode will also be introduced.
Visually and aurally, the game will feature university traditions, mascots, fight songs and more, with Kirk Herbstreit, Chris Fowler, Jesse Palmer, David Pollack and Rece Davis behind the microphone. The game incorporates true college gameplay, an attrition system, pre-snap awareness, and of course home-field advantage.
The long-awaited video game is getting closer and closer to its summer release on July 19th, and last Friday, the cover for the game's deluxe edition was revealed.
The cover features various teams, with six individual players featured in the center, with their names on the back of their jerseys. Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe is one of them, Michigan running back Donovan Edwards, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, Colorado wide receiver Travis Hunter, Georgia quarterback, They were joined by Carson Beck and Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins.
On Thursday morning, EA Sports released the standard edition cover featuring only Ewers, Hunter, and Edwards.
