(KRON) — Contra Costa County’s bus service and paratransit operator, Contra Costa Transportation Authority (County Connection), shared the discovery of a recent cybersecurity attack on Friday.
County Connection said “rogue actors” may have accessed files and data stored within its network. Although transit authorities do not yet know what data exactly was compromised, the bus service operator has taken steps to “secure” its network and hired a specialist cybersecurity firm to investigate the incident. said.
