Accessibility Summer Showcase 2024

Buried among all the speculation about Nintendo's next console and when it might be announced was a message from Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa regarding the next Nintendo Direct. “We are planning to hold a Nintendo Direct this June regarding the Nintendo Switch software lineup for late 2024,” he said in a post on X. The exact date of the Direct has not been disclosed, but it is probably expected to be around the same time. Nintendo wouldn't want to be left out of any activities at Summer Game Fest.
Rounding out this year's summer of gaming is Gamescom 2024. The event is like a European version of E3 and features a unique showcase event similar to his past E3 keynotes. Gamescom starts on his Wednesday, August 21st (my birthday!) and runs through August 25th. Opening Night Live Showcases are hosted by Geoff Keighley and are typically held on weekdays (times TBA).
