Livingston County will celebrate National Travel and Tourism Week from May 19-25, recognizing the important role the travel industry plays in economic growth. The county has increased its tourism efforts since partnering with Livingston County Economic Development in March 2021 following a comprehensive destination assessment by Roger Brooks.
Kelly Burns, Livingston County Tourism Director, emphasized the importance of the week, saying, “National Travel and Tourism Week highlights the unique charm of Livingston County and positions our region as a premier destination for outdoor recreation and travel.” It provides us with an opportunity to position ourselves as Visit LivCo has released a Livingston County summer travel guide featuring local events, restaurants and activities.
