Who is Yasuke?
Yasuke is the first of two playable characters. Assassin's Creed Shadows. He is based on a real person of the same name. He was the first recorded African to come to Japan, arriving in 1579. In real life, Yasuke has a fascinating but mysterious history. That history and the various groups he was involved with inspired Ubisoft to include him in the game. Yasuke has interesting relationships with the Jesuits and other historical figures in the game, and is inspired by his real-life experiences that little is known about. In gameplay and story, Yasuke plays the role of Samauri. His large stature allows him to wield large weapons, and he has a fierce fighting style, making him a force to be reckoned with in the field.
Who is Naoe?
Naoe is from Japan. She is a relatively young character. As the developers state, she comes from a “remote mountainous region known as the birthplace of shinobi.” Shinobu is more commonly known as ninja. She comes from a lower class than Yasuke, and her character is a contrast in many ways. In fact, their factions are said to be at odds when they meet. At some point, they become allies.
In the game, her father represents a real shinobi from history named Nagato Fujibayashi. With the skills and values Shinobu possesses, players can expect Naoe to take on a more stealthy role that players fondly remember. assassin's creed Of yore. She can also fight outdoors, but her height and her training make her a stealthy character, which is the series' signature. Additionally, she also has access to the series' most iconic weapon, the Hidden Blade.
