The Brazilian Digital Game Developers Association Abragames celebrates the approval of Bill 2.796/2021, also known as the Gaming Legal Framework, which paves the way for the growth and job creation of the Brazilian gaming industry.
Following extensive discussions between Abragames and regional associations over the past two years, President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's approval marks an important milestone for the country's gaming industry.
The current legal framework for gaming is a collaborative effort led by Senators Leila Barros and Flavio Arnes, who consulted organizations such as AbraGames to understand the needs and scale of the industry.
