After writing and editing for her college newspaper, Ann earned a degree in news media before transitioning to full-time freelance writing, where she remained for five years, writing for National Geographic, Teen Vogue, Bustle, and the U.S. news. Ann moved to Commerce in 2022 and joined Travel + Leisure in 2024.
An avid traveler who has visited 23 countries, Anne is always testing new products to make her travels even better. Since she rarely checks her luggage, she has a strong interest in carry-on bags, backpacks, and space-saving items. She particularly likes watching wildlife during her travels, and she has snorkeled in Hawaii to see sea turtles, biked around Australia to see quokkas, and tracked whale migrations around the world. I like doing things. When she's not traveling, she can be found working on her next novel or walking her dog, Pepper.
