RICHMOND, VA (May 2, 2024) – Two more CAA champions will be crowned, while other sports prepare for conference championships and some CAA teams gear up for NCAA Tournament play.
Women's and Men's Lacrosse
The CAA Women's Lacrosse Championship begins Thursday afternoon in the semifinals in Stony Brook, New York, with top-seeded No. 14 Stony Brook taking on Elon, Drexel and Hofstra. For more information, visit CAASports.com/WLAX.

The NCAA regional tournament begins Monday against defending CAA champion Delaware State in Bermuda Run and Charleston, North Carolina. victoria hund He plays as an individual at Auburn, Alabama. Both regional tournaments are 54-hole events with the top five teams and the best individuals from the non-advanced teams advancing to the national championship tournament.
Softball | schedule
It's the final week of the CAA Softball regular season. The championship spots have been determined, but the seeding has not yet been determined. This weekend's headliner is Campbell visiting Delaware State for the regular season title. The Blue Hens hold a 2.0 game lead going into their third straight game against the Camels. Delaware State needs one more win to claim its third straight CAA regular season title, but Campbell could be a spoiler in a weekend sweep. The Camels defeated UD 3-2 in a non-conference game last spring, tying the all-time series at 3-3. Additionally, Stony Brook, UNCW, Hofstra, and Elon aim to compete for seeding in the final week of conference play.
Baseball | schedule
Just one game will determine the top three teams in the CAA Baseball Rankings. UNCW (29-16, 14-4 CAA) is attracting attention with 20 wins.thRanked North Carolina State (27-16, 8-10 CAA) hosts Campbell on Tuesday. Co-leading Charleston (31-11, 14-4 CAA), which is 13-2 in its last 15 CAA games, will visit Towson (11-34, 3-15 CAA), while No. Northeastern University (31-11, CAA) will visit Towson. 13-5 CAA) is running at North Carolina A&T (21-23, 5-13 CAA). Also, Stony Brook (22-20, 10-8 CAA) will face Long Island rival Hofstra (18-27, 8-10 CAA) and William & Mary (26-19, 9-0 CAA) Delaware State (24-19, 11-7 CAA) will play at home against Monmouth (14-24, 7-11 CAA).

Five CAA crew members are scheduled to put to sea this weekend. Northeastern and Drexel will head to Lake Quinsigamond for the Eastern Sprint Regatta, while Delaware, Monmouth and Villanova will compete in dual competition. The Blue Hens will play La Salle, the Hawks will play St. Joseph's and the Wildcats will play Stockton University.

It's adjustment time for CAA Track and Field as nine teams complete the regular season in preparation for next week's CAA Championship. North Carolina A&T will host the Aggie Invitational, with Charleston and Elon also participating. Additionally, Delaware, Monmouth and Towson will head to Maryland for the Kehoe Twilight Tournament, while Hampton and William & Mary will head to Liberty for the Twilight Qualifier. Finally, Hofstra is home to the Outdoor Trail of Miles.
