The World Track and Field Relay Competition, which will determine the majority of the 4x100m and 4x400m fields at the Paris Olympics, will be held in partnership with NBC Sports. peacock from the Bahamas on Saturday and Sunday.
World Relays will be broadcast live Saturday at 7:05pm ET peacock Sundays at 7pm ET on CNBC, NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports App; peacock.
The top 14 countries in each relay (men's and women's 4x100m and 4x400m, mixed men's and women's 4x400m) will qualify for the Paris Games.
Countries that qualify to participate do not have to use the same runners for the World Relays at the Olympics.
On Saturday, the top two nations in each relay's first round heat will qualify for the Olympics and advance to Sunday's final, whose results will determine the Olympic lane divisions.
Also on Sunday, a repechage match will be held for the countries that did not advance to the finals. The top two countries in each repechage also qualify for Paris.
The final two countries to qualify for each Olympic relay will be determined by the world rankings on June 30th.
