The Detroit High School Sports Awards, sponsored by Detroit Area Honda Dealers, is proud to announce the nominees for Boys and Girls Skier of the Year. The winner will be announced during a live show on June 18th at The Fillmore Detroit.
This program is produced in cooperation with the U.S. military.
The Detroit High School Sports Awards, one of 20 regional shows across the country, is a nine-month student-athlete recognition program culminating in a red carpet show this spring. The show recognizes athletes, coaches and teams from the greater Detroit area who participate in Michigan High School Athletic Association sanctioned sports.

The live show will recognize these nominees, as well as Athlete of the Year from 27 other sanctioned sports. The awards showcase also includes other top awards for student-athletes, coaches, and teams' accomplishments on and off the field, including the Courage Award, Coach of the Year, Team of the Year, and Boys and Girls Athlete of the Year Award. It will be taken up. of the year award.
