What should travelers wear on long-haul flights to stay chic?
Here's my idea: I don't dress up. I just wear the best travel clothes I can find. I like to keep it really smooth and wear everything in one color. I'm in a rotation of wearing a certain color palette every few months at a time. Now is the era of camels.
I have a pair of Guest In Residence camel pants that can be compared to pajama pants, but they're sturdy. It's cashmere. No matter how many layers you take off, you'll still look chic underneath. Here are my general tips for layering. Remember, the layers underneath aren't just for comfort. You may need to take off your outer layers, but you still need to look polished so that what's underneath is completely visible.

gold jewelry. It doesn't have to be real. It doesn't matter if it's a costume. I have a lot of costume jewelry. My castmates from previous shows call me the “Prince of Persia” because my hands and wrists are usually adorned with lots of gold jewelry. I think that's the most beautiful way to dress up the look.
Even if I'm dressed for travel, which means, like I said, just very plain pants, a simple T-shirt, a sweater, and I'm not wearing all my jewelry. However, this seems very intentional. I dial up the look. As opposed to “it” bags and shoes, get jewelry that you can stack on and off yourself for a minimalist or maximalist look that makes it clear that this is just you. Sho. It's all in the way you style your gold jewelry.

I really like Reykjavik, but our favorite thing to do is do the Golden Circle. My favorite thing to do is not book a hotel for the first or last night, just drive around and secure a hotel once I find a place I like.
In second place is Iceland, and tied for first place is Japan. I love Tokyo. I went on a short trip last month, and this was my 4th time there. I love Tokyo, and I also love Kyoto. These are two places I visited in Japan.

It feels very grand. It's chic, sophisticated, very bold, and feels like who I wanted to be. For me, the kitchen oozes sophistication, so I've always dreamed of being the kind of person who focuses on the kitchen in this way. I love to cook, so this is the most practical range for me.
I have friends over most Thanksgivings and Christmases, and I always had to know exactly when to cook everything. I know it's a problem most people experience, but I love cooking so I wanted to eventually get to a point in life where I could have a bigger stove. And that's what I have now.
We moved in a week before Thanksgiving and had a dinner party for friends after Thanksgiving. I was able to take full advantage of both ovens on that stove. This past week has made it clear to me why L'Atelier is so important to me.
What kind of food do you cook in the microwave?
There are many kinds of stoves, but especially Dar. It's a South Asian version of comfort food. It's lentil. Westerners liken it to soup, but it is very thick. This is great.
And in the oven, I love making chocolate cake. I specifically tweaked Ina Garten's chocolate cake, so now it's Ginger's Chocolate Cake. I like baking the most.
When out-of-town guests come to visit Salt Lake City, where do you like to take them?
My favorite bakery is Tooley. They certainly bake the best bread in Salt Lake, but also some of the best I've had in the US. They do a great job, but I'm not saying that because I'm a Salt Lake local. When it comes to baked goods, I wouldn't trust it if it wasn't formidable, and it is.
There is an Indian restaurant called “Mumbai House” that I really like. That's nice.
And I like to take them hiking. I'm very outdoorsy. We hike something called the Bonneville Shoreline. Then there's a place called Antelope Island. It's about a 20-30 minute drive from Salt Lake. It's a gorgeous, magical island, full of antelopes and mountains to climb. It is surrounded by the Great Salt Lake.
