Rose-Hulman will invest $5 million in sports and recreation centers to meet the growing need for sports and student recreation services and provide additional facilities to further strengthen the nation's top science, engineering, and math departments. We are planning to expand over time.
The addition to the east end of the building overlooking Cook Stadium outdoors will include seven offices on two floors, locker rooms, expanded storage areas and a dedicated recruiting room for intercollegiate athletics. Construction is expected to begin this summer and be completed by spring 2025.

The Sports and Recreation Center served 312 student-athletes and 18 varsity sports in 1997. Now, 27 years later, Rose-Hulman's 20 sports have more than 600 of his student-athletes, plus several head coaches and assistant coaches, and additional support staff.
