Baldur's Gate 3 won Best Game at the 2024 BAFTAs.
Alan Wake 2 won two awards, including Artistic Achievement and Audio Achievement.
In addition to Best Game, Baldur's Gate 3 also won EE Game of the Year, the only award voted for by the public.
Nintendo won four awards, split evenly between The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
British gaming charity SpecialEffect received a special award. Since its founding in 2007 by former teacher Mick Donegan, SpecialEffect has focused on helping people with disabilities, especially children, play video games.
The Special Award is one of the highest honors offered by BAFTA and recognizes “outstanding contributions to film, games and television.”
