The Women's March Madness Final Four is just hours away, and both matchups are must-see games for the national championship.
Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes advanced to the Women's NCAA Tournament Final Four by defeating LSU 94-87 in a rematch of last year's championship game in the Elite Eight. The Hawkeyes are scheduled to play the University Huskies in Cleveland for a spot in the finals, and Clark is aiming for her first national championship.
Clark's exceptional performance against LSU proved to be too much for the Tigers. Clark finished with 41 points, 12 assists and seven rebounds, earning him the title of Most Valuable Player of the regional tournament. During his Elite Eight game, Clark broke several NCAA Tournament records, including a career-high in assists, surpassing Temeka Johnson. She also surpassed Diana Taurasi and Taylor Robertson for the most career 3-pointers in NCAA Tournament history and became the first player in NCAA Tournament history to score three career 40-point games.
Meanwhile, Paige Bakkers led her UConn team to a well-deserved 80-73 victory over USC in the Elite Eight. In the Elite Eight matchup, the Buccaneers led with 28 points, helping secure their 23rd trip to the national semifinals. Aaliyah Edwards also played a key role in the win, contributing 24 points and six rebounds in the win over the Trojans.
The Buccaneers hope to lead the Huskies to their 12th national championship under coach Geno Auriemma, but first they have to get past Clark and the Hawkeyes.

UConn vs. Iowa predictions
FOX Sports: UConn 76, Iowa 74
The staff wrote: “The Huskies' record against the spread is 21-14-0. UW is undefeated ATS (0-2) this season when playing as an underdog by at least 2.5 points. There are 22 games (out of 35).'' That's more than this year's total. ”
Action Network: Select USC +3.5
Dano Mataya writes: “Meanwhile, USC won the PAC-12 tournament, which is one of the strongest conferences in the country, and that's very valuable.” “No one gets to the free throw line.” “She makes over eight free throws per game, and she has incredible feel and a natural ability to draw fouls, even against UConn. I don't see that changing. If she can get UConn's starters into foul trouble, the Huskies are in serious trouble.'' Take points with the Trojans. ”
The Athletic: Choose Iowa
Grace Rayner and Sabrina Merchant write: “Assuming Clark gets her points, the onus is on Backers to match her production. No college senior is as prolific as Clark. Although not a shot hunter, she has averaged close to 28 points since entering the conference tournament. Buccaneer rose to the occasion in March, and her teammates did enough to complement her to help the Huskies get this far. Aaliyah Edwards will be a burden for Hannah Stuelke. The rest of UW's rotation will have to make quick decisions when they have the ball; either shoot on the catch or get off the ball so Buccaneers and Edwards can keep bending the defense. Iowa State and UW were both rated as top-5 offenses during the regular season, according to Her Hoop Stats.''
ESPN: UW has a 60% chance of beating Iowa State.
According to ESPN's matchup predictions, the University Huskies have a 60.6% chance of defeating the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Final Four.
