• GT now has 64 home runs, which is sixth in program history and the most in a single season under coach Irene Morales.
• The 64 home runs are fourth-most in Division I behind Miami (Ohio), Virginia Tech and Oklahoma.
• The Jackets are averaging 2.06 HR per game against non-Power 5 opponents this season.
• The Yellow Jackets' offense has risen to the top of the sport this year, leading overall DI in on-base percentage (16th – .419), slugging percentage (9th – .573) and home runs (4th – 64). It is ranked in the top 20. ), runs per game (14th – 6.74), walks (7th – 152).
• Tech is one of only four programs in the nation (also Oklahoma, Miami (Ohio) and Nevada) to have three players with 10 or more HRs already in 2024: Madison. Dobbins (13), Mallory Black (12), and Sarah Beth Allen (10).
• Dobbins leads the ACC and ranks eighth in the country with 47 RBIs, the second most in a single season for the Jackets over the past 10 years. • Georgia Tech has four players this season with multiple double-digit RBIs for the first time since 2010: Mallory Black (12 RBIs), Madison Dobbins (11 RBIs), Domingue (11 RBIs), Sarah Beth Allen (10 RBIs).
• Mallory Black was named the fifth-best third baseman in the country in Softball America's April rankings, and is the only player in the ACC with double-digit home runs (12) and doubles (11). He is one of only eight Division I players to accomplish the feat.
• Dobbins tied the record for most Grand Slams in a single season, set in 2011, with three.
• Georgia Tech leads the ACC in double plays (20), seventh-most in Division I and the most in the Morales era.
• Sarah Beth Allen had the fourth-most walks in all of Division I with 33 free bases. She is six steps away from tying Tricia Awald (2019) and Tara Knudsen (2004) for the fifth most walks in a season in program history.
• Allen became the first Yellow Jacket in the Morales era to hit double-digit home runs in consecutive seasons (13 last season). This is the first time this has happened since Hope Rush in 2012 and 2013.
• Ella Edgemon tied for 17th in DI with 40 points. She leads the ACC with 19 points in conference games.
• Jin Sileo stole 11 bases this year. She became the first Yellow Jacket player in the Morales era to steal at least 10 bases in all four seasons she played at Tech, and her first since 2015.
• The Yellow Jackets are the only team in the Power 5 with four pitchers who have pitched 45 or more innings.
• Freshman left-hander Makayla Coffield pitched her first 10.1 innings in ACC play without allowing an earned run. It was the longest scoreless period for a Tech freshman to begin conference play since Blake Nelleman pitched 11.1 scoreless innings in 2020.
