Even if he trains diligently against weaker monsters, Beltz will inevitably struggle against larger foes, or enemy soldiers riding the bots, the world's armored machines.of sandland. Fortunately, Belz has its own set of bots that you can summon at will. Belz can store up to five bots (in capsules, of course) at any given time, each with their own set of weapons. There are five types of bots that Belz can ride: Bike, Walker Bot, Battle Armor, Battle Tank, and Hovercraft. All of these vehicles are faster than walking, and with weapons attached to them, they can rival any soldier on the battlefield. But these bots can also help you travel the world. The bike's speed makes it easy to traverse long distances, and the walker's jump makes it perfect for scaling cliffs and reaching high places. Hovercraft are also the only vehicles that can cross bodies of water.

Bots require very advanced technology. The bike is fast, but if it hits an obstacle it will send Beelzebub flying. The placement of their weapons also means they can only fire at things in front of them. Walkers can rev up their motors to increase their jumping power, but if they are charged for too long, their engines will overheat and disappear. Hovercraft are versatile, but lack traction. A tank is, well, a tank. A little too big for enclosed areas or dungeons. Battle His suit of armor is similar, with the added problem of being quite slow to move around. The advantage is that there is no limit to how far you can upgrade your bot. There are plenty of blueprints for more powerful models of your bot, but there are also plenty of weapons you can equip your bot with, from Gatling guns to cannons, heavy shotguns, and more. Players can also customize the bot's paint scheme.

While playing the preview, I explored one of the many dungeons within Sand Land. To navigate the ruins, we had to ride a hovercraft and flip a switch to raise the water level and go deeper. The puzzles were fun, but I got stuck on one particular puzzle halfway through (one of the required switches was hidden a little too well in the rubble of the ruins). Ruins culminated in a fight with an octopus boss, where you had to jump and maneuver around tentacles while reloading ammo and shooting.

I was also able to play a fun infiltration mission in which Belts and his friends sneak into an enemy's castle. This required some clumsy stealth gameplay. It was not very clear where the enemy guard's line of sight was. I accidentally found a way to sneak up on a patrolling guard and incapacitate him (the game didn't inform me of this ability). But it was all worth it to be able to defend himself from tank shells with one arm while his wrist-mounted Gatling gun continued to fire and return from the dungeon in a new battle armor. there was.

Unfortunately, my time with sandland I ran out of energy before digging deeper into the preview. There are many unexplored dungeons and battle arenas where Belz and his friends can fight waves of enemies for money, blueprints, and weapons. The little I played laid the foundation for a fun open world game. Riding a bike around the dunes is fun, although some rough spots will need to be sanded down.
