TL;DR: Very Queer and Neurodivergent Neural Networkss Dressed in leather and costumes, they like to play with electronic precision to create interesting things, and are always willing to help if they can.
Hello! I know that GBAtemp has been around for a long time. It's actually powered by xenForo, a PHP-based forum software. I (dead_d0g) think this is super cool. Hmm, I think it's about time to get started here (not just because of Jeffy and Medicat in particular, but Medicat USB and VHD are awesome and Jeffy is super cool). Oh, FYI, we are systems/plurality! (AToW, that's Ryan (dead_d0g, Pup, it, they), Hunter (Gh0st, he/they), Alex (he/they), and System (it/ (its) Here are some things you'll probably interact with: (and tell us about :3):
- “System Administration” in Linux (also some parts of Windows) many The former is more experienced, but we always want to help ^^, we also have other modern IT here, working on certificates :3c).
- 2000s-style computing in general (note: we generally use “ig” anyway; we're not the most experienced, but we absolutely love this computing)
- Electronics pranks (soldering, microcontrollers, radios (we'll be getting HAM licenses and hardware soon), we love them alllllllll)
- Hacking/Reverse Engineering (No, we're not going to hack temperatures. We're not that stupid. Well, let me tell you, I enjoy breaking things.)
- Software Developer (Wrote quite a lot in JS/TS, using node, deno, etc. Worked on C AToW for Flipper Zero;3, also knows Python well; I want to get better at C++) Rust. The funny thing is, we're not good at using git. PHP might be cool too. I used to use Go too, but I've forgotten most of it now. )
- video game! (OK, we don't play as much as we should, but this includes the PC and anything that can be emulated. We like the PlayStation, but instead he has owned two generations of Xbox. (laughs) VR is also X3)
- Fur and art (oh, here we go, I have) no Think about how common this is here, but A large part of our style (which, unlike other things we create, is not, never was, and never will be MIT licensed). Please take this as a safe assumption :3) comes from this. Although we prefer digital, we are working on a project to auto-adjust/automatically make expressive costume heads and tails. )
I may have forgotten a lot of things, but I'm so glad to be here! We operate on UTC-7 (no DST shift), speak en-US/GB, es-US/MX, and learn de-DE. We write dates and times in ISO 8601 because we care about it (and because we work with multiple different formats and know how messy it can be).
