Edmonds Woodway defeated Linwood 4-0.
The Warriors defeated the Royals 4-0, improving their league record to 3-0 on the season, and sophomore pitcher Lucas Wanke earned his second consecutive shutout victory. Wanke allowed only one hit and struck out 10 Linwood batters.
Two other sophomores from Edmonds-Woodway stood out at the plate. Trevelyan Podawiltz was 2-for-2 with two hits, two RBIs and one stolen base. Toshi Girginas also had 2 hits, a double, an RBI, and 2 stolen bases.
Oregon's Jace Hampson had Linwood's only hit of the game.
