The Yankees have BetMGM's second-lowest bet to win the AL East, behind the Red Sox, the only team in the division expected to finish below .500.
In Queens, the Mets' win total dropped from 82.5 wins to 81.5 after a disappointing 75-win season in 2023 and a quiet offseason.

The Las Vegas bookmaker has the Mets on the fringe of the National League wild-card race, with +145 odds to make the playoffs, behind the other eight teams on the senior circuit.
The Braves are considered the favorites to win the division at -275 and have a great chance to win the National League East.
The Mets are also unpopular as a regional bet, winning only 9.9% of tickets to win the National League East, making them the only team higher than the Marlins (6.3%).
