The Louisville-born R&B stalwart revealed Complex Yesterday, he announced that after the release of his next project on April 5th, he plans to take a break from music and focus on working in the video game design industry, perhaps even as an intern.
“this [album] This will probably be the last one for a while. “I just want to take a break because my biggest passion is video games,” he said. “I've been designing games for the past three years. I'm looking into internships at different companies. That's what I want to prioritize after this album comes out.”
He went on to say that this decision came from a desire to spend more time with his family.
“My oldest daughter is 10 years old now, and I'm tired of telling her she has to work or go to the studio,” he said. “About game design” [is that] It's really cool because you can do it from anywhere. I can be next to her while she plays games. It doesn't feel like work because it's just something I love to do. ”
