Video game film adaptations continue to be a golden opportunity for studios, with series and films based on popular gaming IP increasing exponentially due to the success of recent titles. Video game adaptations scheduled for release in 2024
Halo Season 2 (February 8, 2024)
Hello Season 2 will premiere on February 8, 2024, and was first teased by Paramount Plus in early December. The new season will see Master Chief confront the alien threat of the Covenant as he attempts to prove a looming attack on Reach. The story follows Lilith's return to Pandora where she joins a ragtag team that includes Tiny Tina, Claptrap, Krieg and Tanis in their search for Atlas' missing daughter.
Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft (October 10, 2024)
Another adaptation of a video game from Netflix, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft teeth, tomb raider Developer Crystal Dynamics plans to release it in 2024. Return to Silent Hill (2024, speculated)

As 2024 progresses, many more film adaptations will likely have release dates and we'll likely see a flurry of premieres this year, but these are the big names currently scheduled to arrive within the next 12 months.
