If you consider yourself a seasoned traveller, you know what to pack on a long flight. I can't say I'm a full-fledged jet-setter, but I travel many times a year. Enough to qualify for the benefits of an airline credit card. There are a few nifty items that I always carry with me on every trip. You can buy them all on Amazon starting at $6.

CamelBak Shoot Mug 25oz Bottle
I've been using CamelBak water bottles for over 10 years. Mainly because it was popular during my college days, but it's stuck with me ever since. I loved the classic Eddy+ straw water bottle when I was in my 20s, but I've since upgraded to the Chute Mag bottle, which has a leak-proof screw-on lid to keep my mouth clean and smudge-free. Designed with a slim construction, the water bottle fits perfectly in your backpack or carry-on. Also, since it's made of plastic, it's lightweight and easy to hold in your hand.
Lululemon All Night Festival Bag 5L
Tote bags are great, but if you want to carry only the essentials and walk hands-free, we recommend Lululemon's belt bag. I love the All Night Festival Bag. It features a clever zipper design that gives you peace of mind despite the increasing fear of pickpockets. The top has a zipper to store important items such as your passport, cell phone, and earphones. However, that part actually becomes a flap when folded, and is fastened with a magnetic button. The bag also has a zipper on the outside to store small items like subway cards and IDs. Buy in black or white.
Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Premium Noise Canceling Headphones
The sounds of airplane engines, crying babies, and chatty passengers can all be blocked out with these headphones. I've been using older versions of these for years and plan on purchasing this upgraded version. But honestly, Sony's headphones offer better sound quality and noise-cancelling ability than any other headphone I've tried. I like that I can listen in noise canceling mode when jamming out, then switch to ambient sound control to hear the sounds around me. How else would we know we've landed?
covergirl clean fresh tinted lip balm
My toiletry bag is bare-bones and minimalist with dual-purpose makeup like this Cover Girl tinted lip balm. After searching for the popular Clinique Black Honey Her Lipstick, I found this $6 gem. The tint of the pigmented wine stain is very good and the moisturizing formula is unparalleled. So instead of bringing lip balm or lipstick, I just throw this in my bag and that's it. PSSTIt looks very similar to Clinique Classic.
cadence travel body set capsule container
Cadence's empty capsule containers, a travel-sized bottle, quickly became popular. Unlike drugstore bottles that have small openings that leak inside your bag, Cadence bottles do the opposite. The wide mouth makes it perfect for carrying lotions, thick creams, body washes, etc. The secure twist-top lid features labeled tiles so you can easily see what's inside. Additionally, it has a magnetic design that holds the capsules together. I've taken these with me on trips to Las Vegas, Miami, and even Mexico and Italy, and they've never failed me.
Etekcity digital luggage scale
There's the light packer, and then there's me.I do not have Wright Packer said. So I have to carry a luggage scale with me every time I travel. This digital luggage scale is ideal for solo travelers and single households, as it allows you to lift and check weight directly on the “handle” instead of the outdated standing scales. It's compact so you can throw it in your backpack or carry-on without worrying about adding extra weight.
Travelpro Maxlite Air Medium Check-in Hardside Spinner
For a week-long trip, you'll need more than just a carry-on and less than a large suitcase. That's where this large amount of checked baggage comes in handy. I wanted a lightweight suitcase for my trip to Italy, so I chose the Travelpro Maxlite Air suitcase. It has a durable hard shell, medium-sized construction, and a 9-pound frame. Yes, it was a godsend while walking up and down the stairs in Venice. Choose from several fun styles, including blue, pink, and red. However, I especially like green because it doesn't show dirt, unevenness, or scratches and gives a colorful impression.
scout little big mouth makeup bag
If you have a makeup bag, makeup bag. I use this Scout toiletry bag every day, and it's so easy to carry that I always take it with me when I travel. Despite its compact appearance, it can fit all your skincare and makeup items thanks to its 6-inch capacity and three interior pockets. My favorite thing about this bag is that the wire frame flares out and leaves the top open, making it easy to access your belongings without having to dig around. It is also easy to wipe the bag as it is made of coated cotton material.
Oai Melrose Place Eau de Parfum Travel
I like to wear perfume when I go out, but not many of us carry a full-sized bottle with us when we travel. A smaller, travel-sized option like the portable Ouai Eau de Parfum is the solution. Especially when it smells this good. The 0.34-ounce perfume delivers fresh notes of rose, lychee, and white musk for a spa-like scent you'll want to bathe in. Even after just a few sprays, the scent lasts for a long time. The best part? This one is TSA compatible, but there's no reason you can't throw it in your bag on your commute, date, or brunch.
