HELENA, Mont. – The Frontier Conference announced that 175 student-athletes from four conference winter sports have been named to Academic All-Conference hosted by Logan Health and Billings Clinic. Carroll University leads all academic institutions with her 50 student-athletes recognized for academic achievement.
Winter sports consist of men's basketball, women's basketball, men's indoor track and field, and women's indoor track and field.
“Billings Clinic Logan Health is pleased to extend our support to our student-athletes from the Frontier Conference. We congratulate our athletes on achieving Academic All-Conference status,” said Logan Health Foundation of the Logan Health Foundation. Chairman Joe McClafferty said. “We understand the balance between athletics and academics that is required for these students, and we are excited to see how these outstanding leaders make the world a better place. The selection of 50 conference-leading Carroll student-athletes once again proves why Carroll is an academic and athletic leader, not only on the Frontier, but throughout the NAIA.
Overall, Carroll student-athletes in all sports achieved a department-wide GPA of 3.33 during the fall semester.
To be eligible for this award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25.
